Rehab
One way to achieve “sustainable practices”…is to rehab an existing building- whether residential or commercial. The “embodied energy” in the creating of the materials that make up the building is immense- and rehabbing such structures recycles all that energy + the labor that went into it’s construction.
Herein are a few examples of residential and commercial rehab.
Most of these projects incorporate these attributes:
Exposed brick walls, recycled exist. millwork, sustainable interior finishes, recycled wood ,recycled construction waste, restored Terra Cotta exteriors/interiors.
